We manage website administrators from "User Management" tab in admin panel.
Creating and Managing Administrator:
We create new administrator from the following location:
User Management > Administrator > Add new admin.
Each administrator has two parts of information; ie, "Personal information" and "Access Setting".
We view and update administrator from the following location:
User Management > Administrator > Manage admins.
Admin Access Control Limit:
Assigning access in admin panel is a vital part. In admin update window we have an Access Control Limit (ACL) section to assign permission.
A super admin has full access in admin panel so it shows a notice regarding that in ACL window. For other administrator it shows a tree of the sections to assign access. Each section contains a Checkbox to assign access in inner subdivisions.
Section inner branches have automatically created based on the admin panel menus. If any dynamic menu generates from installed component then respective menu adds automatically in the tree.
Sometime the ACL tree change based on Component Creator configuration because ACL hooks can add customized tree as per requirement. In that case you have to follow the component manual to assign the access.
Update Admin Profile and Change password in login panel:
It's a common practice to change information after admin login.
First click on "Account" link on top right corner near user name in admin panel. It will show you the admin profile information. Then click "Edit Account" link to change admin information.
By default the password input boxes remains read only. Tick the checkbox in title bar of "Change Password" window to enable fields and update the password.
